so yeah im rather peeved that someone would talk of shutting us down, but im also like "ha, whatever" because i know our little community wouldnt let it happen. so i sat back & enjoyed a nice, very personal service and later some yummy cookies with these new family-like group we've come to know since november. and now im sitting here talking to all of you! i have a few cleaning type things to do today then i plan on being a lazy daisy & catching up on some writing! i love cozy sundays.. they had a great message at church today "dont worry about tommorw for today has enough to concern you with" thats hard! its hard not to worry about mondays appointment or tuesdays laundry,or junes move, living one day at a time is almost impossible for this multi tasking mama!! but its good advice.. unless your worry pertains to this very moment then just forget about it! you can deal with it later when its right in your face. so i'll leave you with that nice advice and a few photos.. have a good week!

cozy sunday...
we just got back from church today. i love going to church out here. its in a small, cozy historical building with a very small group. today there was one other family and then the chaplain & pianist. i like it better that way. after a very intresting sermon about the sermon on the mount & communion we went outside and had some treats. every sunday we take turns bringing snacks to share after service, its so nice! today our pianist was talking about how the chaplian in charge of all the churches on base was saying he wanted to shut down our little historical church. says its too big of a pain to send an RP out to unlock the doors. the heater in this stone building doesnt work so its always pretty chilly, we thought it was broken, but come to find out this head guy in charge just refuses to refill the gas because "why should i have to pay to heat the whole place when theres only a few people in attendace?" i was so appalled at hearing this.. this guy is supposed to be head of all christian services on this huge military base and hes wanting to shut our church down, one home to 5 very young families and one elderly couple who are working hard to show up and have some peace to start their week, because its a pain to unlock the doors in the morning?! and although all but one of us have either newborns or disabled family members, we dont deserve heat? disgusting. although i can say we dont mind the cold, we dress for it, so what. but to take a place of God away from us just to make one grumpy old man's life easier, well thats just not christian. man im so mad... i love our small church with our small group... large groups make me nervous and uncomfortable. i wouldnt be able to attend a big, packed church. big or small, packed or few, its still a house of God full of believers who want to hear the Word.
