the mail man has brought me beautiful things... i ordered the faber-Castell art journaling starter kit (only $20 buckeroos!).. i've always been fascinated with the art journals i see in my mixed media mags.. but didnt know quite how to make one.. this kit came with all the materials to get started including a 27pg instructional booklet... im stooooked!! the most enticing material in there upon first glance is what looks to be colored pencils, but is ACTUALLY watercolors!! you draw with it then brush water over it to turn it into paint! how amazing.. im sure ill fall in love with all the other products in there as well... i love writing, journaling and many different forms of art so i am so stoked to come combine a bunch of them together in a beautiful book... i smell a new passion aboard!! ^_^ ohh what nerdy excitement brewing... hey according to spell check (which i generally ignoooore..) "journaling" is not a word. silly spell check..
i plan on getting familiar with the products in my kit on a scrap sheet before i start then begining the journal. i dunno how far ill get tonight but stay tuned for photos!
i didnt get alot of cleaning done, gracias to the onset of a cold... i can feel it coming! runny nose, head & body ache.. i popped some sinex after our family walk (it is beautiful today!) and took an hour nap.. feel a bit better now. i did do some laundry.. eric was nice enough to clean & vaccuum the living room & i made chicken wings, bacon & mashed tatoes for dinner which means he gets to do dished & will consequently clean off the kitchen counters.. ill sweep & tadaaaa clean downstairs! we're going to rent "Life as We Know It" with our pay per view coupon, get ready for a review! (im excited i thought this movie look amazing.. tehe) alrighty chickadees... i cant wait to see what comes of my beautiful new projects! hugs!
