whoaaa what a weekend! we had a great friday night at our neighbor's "belated" st. patty's day party. i had such a blast! i felt really pretty & felt like part of the group, thats the most fun ive had at a party innn... possibley ever! we played beer pong with green tequila & while i didnt drink cuz im breastfeeding, i still threw the balls while my partner drank & i wont the game! whoo!. saturday morning i was up by 0630 as it was my turn to be a marine for a day at CLB5's jane wayne day. i did some running (breaking my back and numbing my right leg completly, making for a very peculiar gait while marching) some marching, then i shot an M16 (with real rounds & everything! on semi though, not burst!) then a pistol (also real bullets) it was sooo cool & i really enjoyed it. i didnt aim to well with the M16 but i hit 3 bullseyes with my pistol! that was awesome. after that it was about 11 & i was ready to go home. they did it boot camp style which was really dumb. i didnt want to get screamed at and degraded all saturday & eric felt really bad for us, he agreed that its supposed to be a fun day for us to learn about our hubbies jobs, they shouldnt treat us like recruits! so i left then. i have a cute pink "i survived jane wayne day" tshirt & my target pages as souvenirs so its cool. so yep, we had quite the weekend! now today we have to get cleanin as my friend brittany & her daughter melina are coming to visit!! yay! hope you all had a blast this weekend! xo kels
p.s. i'm happy to brag that im offically 130lbs! the least ive weighed since i had hailyn.. whoo hoo hard work pays off!! =] <3
Oh my gosh, can I just say how cute you look in the Marines Battle Uniform? You look ready to kick some butt!! I am glad you had a fun day, even if the Marines did treat you like recruits. (You think they would have figured if the ladies wanted to be treated like recruits they would have joined the USMC... ah well.)
