ok well technically not til tommorw! but my phenix matthew had his first birthday party yesterday! it was....overwhelming! a few things happened with other people that bothered me but i tried not to let it get to me on my big boys day. he had a lovely time! he got lotsa cool toys and nice cards and cute clothes. we as a family are so very blessed!!! i began a journal for phenix last night, and wrote out his birth story.. it really brought me right back to that day, those moments, that fear and then the immense joy and admiration and fascination and..so many emotions. i find myself itching for another child again!!! but i've got to hold my horses... i dont think my body could take it right now! (nor could my sanity) but perhaps in a few years when my babies go to kindergarden. (hopefully they wont, hopefully i can carry out with the homeschooling i dream of!

back to p's party.. well it was lion themed because this guy looooves lions! and he got lotsa lions and even some lion jams!! i made him a birthday collage of photos from my 9wk ultrasound to current, and a semi 3D lion cake! it was tasty annnnd awesome looking hehe. and i put up streamers and paper lanterns.. oh it was so cool!
(i cant wait for my bday! i found the coolest pink zebra decorations! hehe)
we had lotsa lotsa lotsa yummy food and lots of people even papa rich, who lives waaaay up in pound, WI (about 3 hours away!) joined us! it was great. i still cant believe my big boy is one! he has come SO far! hes getting very close to saying words, walking like a pro, has like 6 teeth... his fave song is "itsy bitsy spider" and his fave toy issss... probably the push toy.. he likes blocks and balls and bears and such.. hes a happy, loving kid. im so proud of him! i am still breastfeeding him along with him eating some baby food, some big people food.. i know i should stop the nursing but i love the bonding time. hes running around and playing all day, the only time we get together is drink time... =/ i wouldnt mind your thoughts on this??
